Workshop Details:
This program is based upon the New York Times best seller The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John Gottman, PhD. of the Gottman Institute. Dr. Gottman researched couple relationships for over 40 years and discovered the unique differences between masters of marriage and disasters of marriage. He further developed a method of correcting the behaviors that ultimately puts over 50% of all marriages on the rocks.
This 12-hour workshop is designed to strengthen your marriage or relationship. If you already have a strong relationship this workshop will provide you with insights and tools to make it even better. For couples who are planning to get married or are entering into a committed relationship this workshop will provide you with skills to get off to a great start and avoid common pitfalls many couples fall into.

- The newly released edition of The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work book.
- Two of The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Workbooks. This allows each partner to privately record answers and to journal thoughtful about the concepts in the book, as they apply to their relationship.
- Love Map/Open Ended Questions Card Deck. This is a fun and effective way for couples to get to know one another’s inner lives, increasing closeness and friendship.
- Engaging Presentations and the opportunity to privately practice using the tools provided throughout the workshop.
- Personal support and guidance as needed
- Coffee, tea, soda and light snacks will be provided. Lunch is on your own. Please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
